Haley Hazell is a professional food stylist and recipe developer.
Growing up in a food-obsessed Jewish family in Los Angeles, global flavors and fresh, seasonal produce defined Haley's culinary experiences from a young age, but it wasn't until Haley was a decade into her career as a graphic designer that food became her primary focus. Rattled by news of her father's cancer diagnosis, Haley decided it was time for a change, so she took a leap of faith, leaving her full time job and enrolling in the culinary arts program at San Francisco Cooking School. Upon graduation, she did a brief stint at San Francisco's Michelin-starred gem, Octavia, before finding her way to an online grocery start-up, Good Eggs, where she had the opportunity to combine her passions for design and food as the senior visual designer, food stylist, and photo director for the brand.
Haley now lives in San Diego where she works as a one-woman agency — food stylist, recipe developer, photographer, designer and illustrator—creating content for brands, styling for cookbooks, and developing dishes that reflect her California lifestyle with mostly plant-based recipes tinged with bold, international flavors, which come together fast and fuss-free.
